Chiefland, FL is only a short 17 miles where you can find a WalMart, Tractor Supply, Bealls Outlet, Winn Dixie, and many restaurants and fast food places. 130 miles from historic St. Augustine, 155 miles from the famous Daytona Beach. 148 miles to Disney World. 50 miles from the home of the University of Florida Gators, in Gainesville, FL. Major VA hospitals are located in Gainesville and Lake City. An excellent out patient VA clinic is located in Perry. We are just 3 miles from Cross City, which has a Family Dollar, Dollar General, Save-a-Lot grocery store, a Post Office, several banks, several fast food places and some dine in places that offer Country Cooking, Mexican or Chinese.
